About

A botanical photographer for over 20 years, it was not initially fun to take up the digital challenge and leave film behind, but discovering a FujiFilm camera with a color setting for the lost film, a beautiful Zeiss macro lense that fit, and a large sensor got everything going. I needed a pocket sized camera, though, for everyday grab-and-go photography, and the Panasonic Lumix’s "Impressive Art" filter became the key to full digital enjoyment! In fact, so much so that my images now come from all visual inspiration, not just botanical plant life.

I now live in South Florida overlooking a canal filled with boaters, leaping fish and the occasional manatee, surrounded by palm trees and banyans and sunrises with white Ibis circling overhead.
